Last November, Laura Barber visited 5 of the 24 schools in Aringay, La Union that the ELM Tree Foundation has sponsored for the Ronald McDonald Read to Learn program.

"The children we visited are only in their first year at school but they’re already so enthusiastic, telling me stories about how they’re already reading and spelling. It was so lovely to see how they’re all learning how to recycle too pero nakakalito daw yan." Laura shared on her Instagram post. She also thanked everyone who donated and made the project possible.
